RIVER FLOODING- This is the second in a series of three interactive exercises designed to help you learn about river processes such as discharge, flooding, erosion, and deposition.

Each exercise requires you to make careful observations and measurements, do simple calculations, and answer questions about your work. A "Certificate of Completion" will be available to you at the end of each activity.

This activity's first few pages briefly review the concepts of determining stream discharge, but, you are encouraged to complete the first activity of this series, River Discharge, before going on.
