PedigreeLab

The results of a large family pedigree search can be analyzed to determine whether or not the trait is linked to an RFLP probe. The probe genotypes for each member of the family are displayed along with their phenotypes for the trait. Offspring can be scored as "nonrecombinants" or "recombinants." Up to 100 pedigrees can be analyzed per search. The accumulated data is used to determine if there is linkage with the probe and, if so, the map distance.
