Biology Labs On-Line is an open access web site that offers a series of 12 interactive, inquiry-based biology simulations and exercises designed for college and AP high school biology students. Biology Labs On-Line was once a commercial web site, but it is now being made available free-of-charge by the California State University system. It was developed with partial support from the National Science Foundation. Over one million students and teachers from around the world have used one or more of these applets.

For free access to the biology labs, click the link above. If you want to take a quick virtual tour of any of the labs, click on one of the applet images to the right. These provide a series of screen images that illustrate the functionality of each lab.
